This Great Festival of Lord Rama is celebrated for a minimum of 8 days in the Samaj, before the Rama Navami Day, called "Garbhotsavam". This normally falls in March / April every year.
The highlights of this celebrations include:
1. Discourses on Ramayanam / Bhaktha Vijayam by Eminent Artistes.
2. Divyanama Sankeerthanam on the penultimate day by well known Bhagavathars.
3. Unchavrithi / Laksharchana and "Seethakalyanam" on the concluding day.
4. The concluding day ends with the extremely popular "Anjaneya Utsavam" and distribution of Vada Maalai Prasadam.
Mandala Pooja & Sastha Preethi
This is the second major festival conducted usually in the second weekend of December every year.
The highlights include:
1. Programme on Ayyappa Devotional Songs by eminent experts are held on the friday and saturday evenings, enjoyed by a large crowd of devotees.
2. The Sunday Pooja starts with Ganapathi Homam, then the Holy Kettunira, followed by Laksharchana and Sastha Paattu & Bhajans (Sastha Preethi), concluding with Paanaka Pooja in the evening.
